The Murfreesboro Amnesty International Meetup

This is a grassroots meetup of Amnesty International supporters and members. We hope to start as a meetup and then charter as an official local group of Amnesty International USA. Anyone who has an interest in human rights issues are welcome. Amnesty International focuses on five key issues: Women's Rights, Children's Rights, Ending Torture and Execution, Rights of Refugees and Rights of Prisoners of Conscience In addition AI takes actions on genocide such as the genocide in Darfur, and extreme poverty as well as numerous other human rights issues.
